A good friend of mine has been battling thyroid cancer for the past two years. This week she had surgery for the second time. A friend and I wanted to take her something besides the usual bouquet of flowers. I went searching on Pinterest and found this cute idea HERE. So we made our own version of this Get Well Soon Gift. Thankfully it's Easter and the Dollar store at Target had a lot of yellow items.
Supplies- Yellow tissue paper, Lemonade, Reese's Egg, Teddy Grahams, Notepad, Nail Polish, Goo Gone, Pedicure Set, Yellow Chicks, Fortune Pen, Juicy Fruit, Potato Chips.
Such a fun way to brighten a friend's day!

What a great gift idea!! I'm craving the peeps. We don't get them here in Scotland so I asked my Mom to send me some. I'm sure I'll gulp them down in one sitting.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who was undergoing thyroid cancer last year. We got her scarves to cover her scar from surgery in lieu of flowers. Something different that she could use.
