Glitter Reindeer

If you are on Pinterest chances are you have seen this glitter reindeer silhouette.  Just Daisy Dreaming came up with this great idea and we knew we had to make our own. Chelsie and I bought the supplies weeks ago but since my house is finally finished we have been busy moving.

Supplies
1. Canvas
2. Glitter
3. Spray adhesive
4. Deer silhouette (you can find the one we used HERE)

My camera was nowhere to be found so we had to use our phones.

We decided to cut out the deer head so we had a stencil.  We taped the paper onto canvas and sprayed the adhesive all over.  We sprinkled on glitter making sure to get every inch covered.  The more glitter the better! We went outside so glitter wouldn't get all over my house.  Apparently the paint on my deck was still damp and now I have glitter all over! I guess it's those little things that make a house a home.

Peel of the paper and brush the excess glitter off.  That's it! Such an easy project.

My sister also did this with a different silhouette. She used regular paper and framed the finished piece.

Has anybody else tried this easy project?

Gift Wrap

One of my Favorite things about Christmas is all the adorable gift wrap. I love using plain butcher paper, adding ribbon, and gift tags to decorate the package.  I found this glitter ribbon at Walmart along with the letter charms.  I think the charms were meant for stockings, but you could also use them as ornaments once the present is opened.  I love the way these packages turned out.

DMV

Christy had to go to the DMV to renew her license. So being the best friend that I am, I went with her! Filling out the paper work we decided it is a good idea when it asks for your weight, to put your goal weight. I mean- come on. I don't know one person who has actually put their real weight down. It's a good reminder every time you look at your license to see that goal weight ;) haha!

And we found out Christy might have shrunk an inch in the last 4 years.

And- why is everyone that works at the dmv so cranky? Luckily we had some guy speaking a different language so I chimed in and made friendly conversation. He even let Christy re-take her license picture ;)

So how many of you put your real weight on your drivers license?
