But who wants to pay that price! She found a great way to make this bed cheap! We had a lot of fun helping with this project, and it was so easy! All you need is some pine boards, plywood, stain, foam padding, and fabric (she used old window curtains).

Maybe we had too much fun with the air compressor |
Isn't it gorgeous? Be sure to head over to Mrs. This and That for step by step instructions on how to make this beauty.

How much $$ did this cost for you to make it yourselves?
ReplyDeleteTiffany (who we helped make the headboard with) said it cost her around $75. We went to get supplies to make our own and it was a little over $100. If you go to http://mrsthisandthat.blogspot.com/ you can see all the supplies she used!
DeleteThis is gorgeous! I literally lol at the air compressor pictures :) So much fun! Great job - heading over to Mrs. This and That to tell her the same thing.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. You girls are so so so handy! I love it. Umm, those pillows are amazing. I've been looking for yellow and grey pillows/material. Where, oh where did you get those?!?!
ReplyDeleteThat came out really good! I really should try that because after 5 years of being married, we still don't have a headboard! =/ Looks amazing. =)
