Mother Daughter Date

When Chelsie and I got pregnant our moms met and were able to talk to each other about their little girls having babies. I think it helped them have somebody else in a similar situation. Ever since then we have all been friends.  We really have a special friendship.  Not only are we best friends, our daughters are best friends, and our mothers are friends. It's pretty awesome!
As you know Melting Pot is our favorite.  A few months ago we found out that neither of our moms had ate there before.  So last weekend we surprised them and took them out on a mother daughter date. We didn't tell them what we were doing, just to get ready for a fun night.  Before the night even started our moms had so many ideas of what we were doing.  Chelsie's mom thought we were going to a psychic, my mom thought we were gonna ride in a limo.  We had to tell them to lower their expectations or they were both going to be disappointed!

Chelsie really wanted to blind fold them, but our moms weren't excited about that idea. We wanted to give them the full experience, which means taking public transportation! We pulled into the trax station and I don't think I have ever seen my mom so excited!  She said she had only taken trax once before and she really wanted to go on it again. Ha Ha who gets that excited over trax? After a very interesting ride with lots of people watching, we arrived downtown.  Then we tried to convince them we were going to have a wild night at Keys on Main.

When they realized we were going to Melting Pot they were both so excited!

We got our favorite, Fiesta Cheese, Chelsie and her mom had Filet Mignon, and we all ate the delicious Flaming Turtle chocolate fondue. It was all wonderful!
By the end of the night we were stuffed. It was so fun to be able to take our moms out and spoil them. They do so much for us, we don't know what we would do with out them!

love Christy & Chelsie
